Police looking for suspect who allegedly used teeth on malicious wounding victim in Woodbridge

Malicious Wounding – On January 19 at 8:34PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Carlsbad Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 43-year-old man of Woodbridge, and the accused were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.  During the encounter, the accused bit the victim in the arm causing a laceration. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police.

The accused fled the area prior to officers arriving. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused.
