**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 23 at 12:50AM,Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Pinehurst Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a domestic assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 18-year-old woman of Manassas, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.
During the encounter, the accused began assaulting the victim. When two other witnesses attempted to intervene, the accused pushed and punched them as well. When officers arrived, the accused again lunged at one of the witnesses. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he resisted and a struggle ensued.
The accused was eventually taken into custody and placed in the rear seat of a police cruiser. While sitting in the cruiser, the accused kicked an officer in the leg. The accused was detained without any further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with 1 count of assault & battery on a LEO, 2 counts of domestic assault & battery, 2 counts of assault & battery, and 1 count of obstruction of justice
