Fourth suspect arrested in 7-Eleven parking lot stabbing in Dumfries on Nov. 27

Malicious Wounding | Stabbing Investigation *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On November 29, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit located and arrested the fourth suspect, identified as Darrlye Amontae CLEMONS, who was wanted in connection to a stabbing which occurred in the 7-Eleven parking lot located at 16806 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries on November 27. CLEMONS was arrested later that evening while leaving his residence in Dumfries.

Malicious Wounding | Stabbing Investigation *ARRESTS – On November 29, detectives from the Robbery Unit, Gang Unit, and officers from the School Resource Unit identified four of the suspects involved in the stabbing which occurred in the 7-Eleven parking lot located at 16806 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries on November 27. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of these suspects. A search warrant was subsequently executed at 3417 Belleplain Ct where three of the suspects were apprehended without incident. A knife was recovered. Attempts to locate the fourth suspect, identified as Darrlye Amontae CLEMONS, have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding | Stabbing Investigation [Previously Released] – On November 27 at 8:00PM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 16806 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, identified as an 18-year-old man of Dumfries, was involved in a verbal altercation with several unknown men in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven. During the encounter, the victim was stabbed. The suspects fled the area and the police were contacted. The victim was flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries and is expected to survive. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**

Murder Investigation – On November 29 at 7:29PM, officers responded to the Food Lion located at 6306 Hoadly Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. The victim, later identified as Cordrey Douglas JACKSON, was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries a short time later. The victim was subsequently transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. On November 30, detectives from the Homicide Unit identified the suspect involved in the murder of the victim. The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a physical altercation with the accused and another man in the parking lot of the store. During the encounter, the victim was shot. All parties were known to one another. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Roberta Edlina BRANDON. The accused has not been located at this time and remains at large. The investigation continues. This is Prince William County’s 22nd homicide of 2016*.

Shooting into Residential Dwellings– On November 29 at 11:47PM, officers responded to the 4300 block of Ensbrook Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. Several callers reported hearing multiple gunshots in above area. Upon further investigation, two townhomes were discovered damaged by bullets which were found lodged in the interior walls of the residences. Officers checked the area and located shell casings in the roadway. No injuries or no other property damage were reported. The investigation continues.

Commercial Burglary – On November 30 at 4:20AM, officers responded to the Miller’s Neighborhood Market (BP service station) located at 7601 Somerset Crossing Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. A citizen reported to police that the front glass door of the business was found shattered. Surveillance footage revealed that an unknown man entered the store at 3:29AM by breaking the front door. The suspect then grabbed several cartons and pack of cigarettes before fleeing the business on foot. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Male of an unknown race, approximately 30 years of age, 6’00”, 190lbs, with a medium build
Last seen wearing a white mask, green jacket, blue pants, and white gloves

**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On November 28, detectives from the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old female juvenile, was inappropriately touched and photographed by the accused, identified as a family member, on several occasions since the spring of 2016. The incident and photographs were recently disclosed to a school staff who contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. Additional charges are pending.
