Four robberies reported in Woodbridge - one in daylight, two involving a handgun

Armed Robbery – On November 26 at 6:36PM, officers responded to the 1100 block of Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 53-year-old man of North Carolina, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was no located. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery – On November 24 at 11:17AM, officers responded to the 13200 block of Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 24-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by a large group of unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim. At some point, the victim was punched in the face. The victim fled the area and contacted police. No injuries were reported. The victim was not cooperative with investigators.

Strong Armed Robbery – On November 25 at 11:11PM, officers responded to the 14300 block of Ferndale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile of Stafford, reported to police that he made arrangements with two unknown men via social media to buy a firearm. During the encounter, the suspects took a cell phone and wallet from the victim before fleeing the area of foot. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers identified one of the suspects. The second suspect remains unidentified.  Charges are pending. The investigation continues.

Strong Armed Robbery – On November 23 at 9:38PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 31-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man grabbed the victim before taking his wallet. The suspect then fled the area in a brown or gold vehicle, occupied by an unknown driver and passenger. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues
