Fire protection units train in buildings in Haymarket July 15-17
Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue First Battalion Companies trained in structures located on James Madison Highway in Haymarket July 15-17, according to a news release.
Synthetic smoke was used to create a realistic training environment for firefighters to practice search, rescue, ventilation, and hose line operations.
The three structures were made available to the Fire Department by VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation) which is currently working on the Interstate 66 expansion project.
