VDOT to shift US 15 traffic Friday beginning at 10 p.m.
Virginia Department of Transportation will shift traffic on US 15 from the existing northbound and southbound bridges over I-66 to the new bridge between 10 p.m. Friday, June 10 and 9 a.m. Saturday, June 11.
Lane closures will occur during this time and police will be present to direct traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to seek alternate routes.
The work is part of the I-66/US 15 Diverging Diamond Interchange project. The $59 million project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2017.
