**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On May 18 at 12:32AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Enterprise Ln and Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) around 11:00PM on May 17. The victim, a 27 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, one of men brandished a handgun and demanded property from the victim. The suspects took the victim’s wallet, cell phone, and other property before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. The victim was unable to provide police with a description of the suspects.
Attempted Armed Robbery – On May 18 at 12:54AM, officers responded to the 1300 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 29 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking to his residence in the above area when he was approached and grabbed by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect knocked the victim to the ground. Three other suspects were also present during the altercation. One of the suspects struck the victim with a metal baseball bat while another displayed a knife. The suspects attempted to take the victim’s wallet before the victim was able to get away and contact police. The victim was unable to provide police with a description of the suspects and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located.
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On May 17 at 11:57PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9400 block of Westmoreland Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate a destruction of property call. The homeowner reported to police that a bullet hole was discovered in an interior wall of the residence. Upon further investigation, a vehicle parked in the driveway and an exterior shed were also struck, in addition to a second home in the same area. Several shell casings were located in the roadway. Witness reported seeing a black “sports car” style vehicle driving by without headlights just prior to hearing the shots. No injuries were reported.
Commercial Burglary – On May 17 at 9:37AM, officers responded to Brother Lawn Service located at 8624 JD Reading Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 9:00PM on May 16 and 9:00AM on May 17. The investigation revealed that someone made entry into a secure lot on the premise. A vehicle and trailer were reported missing.
Stolen Property:
A white, 2001 Ford F150 pickup truck with VA-tags: XRE-7361 and “Brother Landscaping Service” written on both sides
A black, 2012 carry-on utility trailer with VA-tags: 391791TL
Commercial Burglary – On May 16 at 7:00AM, officers responded to a construction site located in the 4100 block of Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The construction manager reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 5:00PM on May 15 and 5:00AM on May 16. The investigation revealed that someone made entry into a building under construction in that area. Copper piping and wire were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Sexual Assault – On May 17, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which occurred at a home located in the 4200 block of Wiltshire Pl in Dumfries (22025). The investigation revealed that the victim, a then 9 to 10 year old girl, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a family member, on more than one occasion between 2010 and 2012. A recent incident which reportedly occurred between March and April of 2016 was also disclosed. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Charged with 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery and 1 count of indecent liberties

Narcotics Investigation – On March 6, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force arrested the below individual following a vehicle stop which occurred around 4:30PM in the area of Balls Ford Rd and Mason King Ct in Manassas (20109). During the stop, detectives recovered cocaine. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic and transporting a controlled substance into the Commonwealth
