County schools reschedule All County Orchestra to Feb. 20

Outstanding orchestra students from Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) at the middle and high school levels will combine their talents for an afternoon of music at the upcoming All County Orchestra program, rescheduled from Jan. 30 to Saturday, Feb.  20 at Stonewall Jackson High School. The annual event gives young musicians a chance to perform challenging scores under the direction of a guest conductor.

Zach Saunders, orchestra director at Battlefield High School, will direct the All County Junior Honors Orchestra. The All County Senior Honors Orchestra will be directed by Greg Rupert, orchestra director at Westfield High School in Fairfax County.

Students participate in rehearsals that culminate in the 4 p.m. performance. Guests are encouraged to attend and support arts education in PWCS schools.
