Burglary – Arrest
At approximately 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to Roger’s Service Center (9600 S Grant Ave) for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two windows in the business’s garage door were broken and office lights were on that would normally be turned off at night. Someone had also caused damage to interior office doors and scattered several cartons of cigarettes. Through further investigation, officers identified the suspect as William J. TIBBS. TIBBS (43), of 9225 Douglas St, was charged with Burglary at Night with Intent to Commit Larceny and Destruction of Property. TIBBS was held without bond and has a pending court date of March 1, 2016.
