Courthouse fare surprises cab driver in Manassas

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On December 9th at 4:56PM, officers responded to the area of Adler Ln and Coachcrest Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 36 year old man of Manassas Park, reported to police that he was a cab driver and had picked up a fare at the county courthouse. After picking up the suspect, the victim drove him to the above area. Once stopped, the suspect pulled out a knife and took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing on foot towards Winfield Lp. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 23 & 28 years of age, 5’5”, 140lbs with a thin build, dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a black coat, black jeans, green baseball hat and carrying a green backpack

Residential Burglary – On December 10th at 2:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Danube Way in Haymarket (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM and 2:23PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear sliding glass door which was pried open. A TV was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Filing a False Police Report | Narcotics Investigation – On December 10th at 3:14PM, officers responded to 18000 block of Graham Park Dr in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate an initial report of a robbery. The victim, later identified as Heather TAYLOR, reported to police that she was robbed by the accused after making arrangements to sell him prescription medications in the above area. The suspect, identified as Stephan ABROMAVICH, was quickly located by responding officers and detained without further incident. Through the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit determined that TAYLOR lied about the robbery and also in a written statement provided to police. The investigation revealed that the arrangement to conduct the transaction was setup by TAYLOR. During the encounter, ABROMAVICH, was given the prescription medications and failed to pay the amount agreed upon which prompted TAYLOR to report the robbery. Three other occupants with TAYLOR were also determined to be wanted out of other jurisdictions for unrelated offenses. Following the investigation, all parties involved in the incident were arrested.

Charged with filing a false police report, distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic and conspiracy to commit the Drug Control Act

Charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic and conspiracy to commit the Drug Control Act
