Veterans of Foreign War Post 7589 to plant flags on graves and hold Memorial Day ceremony
VFW Post 7589 in Manassas will conduct Memorial Day ceremony at the Manassas Veterans Monument on Main St., in Manassas, on Monday,May 26 at 8:30 a.m.
After the ceremony, member of the post will conduct a flag distribution on graves of veterans and service at Francis Cannon gravesite at the Manassas Cemetery on Rt. 28 west in Manassas, on Monday, May 26, beginning at about 9 a.m.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, members of the post distributed Buddy Poppies at Giant food stores in Centreville and Gainesville and at the Food Lion store at Woodbine.
