Man in sunglasses, long black wig robs Wells Fargo Bank in Dale City shortly after opening March 3

**INCIDENTS**

Bank Robbery – On March 3 at 9:18AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2867 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man approached the bank area then passed a note demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 and helicopter checked the surrounding area for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, 5’09” with a heavy build
Last seen wearing a red & black jacket, black pants, black sunglasses, long black wig, and one white glove

Attempted Armed Robbery – On March 2 at 9:10AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Family Dollar located at 13975 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. During the encounter, the suspect implied he had a gun and demanded money. The suspect eventually fled the area without taking any property. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Black male of an unknown age, 5’07” with a thin build holding a washcloth covering his face
Last seen wearing a hat with a white brim, black jacket with a hood, light blue jeans, and white shoes

Attempted Residential Burglary – On March 2 at 12:30AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Marjon Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that two unknown persons attempted entry into the residence through a basement rear door. When the homeowner yelled at the suspects through the door, they fled the area on foot. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
Suspect Descriptions:
One black male and one male of an unknown race, both were between 16 & 20 years of age

**ARRESTS**

Assault by Mob | Stabbing Investigation – On February 27 at 11:27PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Vantage Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 21-year-old man of Woodbridge, was walking in the above area when four masked suspects and a known acquaintance approached him. The suspects and the acquaintance began assaulting the victim, and robbed him of his possessions. During the assault, the victim stabbed the acquaintance, identified as a Dominique Dion BENJAMIN. All the parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police.  A police K-9 and helicopter searched for the four other suspects who had fled prior to officers arriving. BENJAMIN was flown to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  BENJAMIN remained hospitalized until March 2 at which point he was subsequently taken into custody. The investigation continues.

Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On March 2 at 1:19AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 52-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was riding his bicycle in the above area when he approached an unknown male and female. During the encounter, the suspects demanded money from the victim then assaulted him. The victim was able to flee the area and contact police. No property was reported missing. Responding officers located and arrested the female, identified as Micayla Rae CAPLANIS, who was determined to be intoxicated. Attempts to locate the second unknown suspect were unsuccessful. The investigation continues.
