Candland to hold town meetings April 5 &6, wants feedback on county budget priorities

Gainesville Supervisor Pete Candland will hold town hall meetings on Wednesday April 5, at 6 p.m. in the Heritage Hunt Community Ball Room and Thursday April 6, at 7 p.m. in the Haymarket Gainesville Community Library.

“In the coming weeks, your Board of County Supervisors will be discussing and voting on the County’s real estate tax rate, and the County budget that spends over $1 billion of taxpayer money. I strongly believe in listening to the will of the people, so I welcome citizens to come and tell me what they want the County to prioritize. I will be pleased to discuss with you the Prince William County Budget for FY18 and update you on projects impacting our community, especially the proposed Service Authority projects in the Heritage Hunt community,” he was quoted as saying in a press release.

I sincerely hope you will be able to take time to come participate in one of these meetings and allow me to say hello to each of you personally. Please call or email my office with any questions or items you’d like addressed. Finally, I ask you please forward this email to your Prince William County neighbors and friends so they can attend
