Manassas Park Community Center invites the community to watch our seniors and many other local seniors participate in the Northern Virginia Senior Olympics on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Although the gymnasium will be closed all day for this event, we encourage you to come and cheer on our seniors!
We thank you for your patronage and apologize for any inconvenience.

Newport News middle school teacher Chanda Woods is Region 2 Teacher of the Year
Chanda Woods, an integrated language arts teacher at Newport News Public Schools’ Crittenden Middle School, has been named the 2025 Virginia Regional Teacher of the Year (Region 2) by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). Woods has been a teacher and a mentor for 26 years.
