Pool and water park in Manassas Park to open on Fathers’ Day
Signal Bay Water Park will be undergoing significant renovations prior to opening for the 2015 season. Due to the size and scope of the repairs, SBWP will be opening on Sunday, June 21st, Fathers’ Day.
These exciting renovations include new surfaces on both pools, a new deck coating, new tile, new paint on play features and measures to increase overall facility safety.
The last few winters have been exceptionally harsh and have taken their toll on the 19-year-old water park. Patron safety is Manassas Park’s Department of Parks and Recreation’s number one priority, and parks and rec staff look forward to kicking off the season with a fresh look, a news release stated.
Mark your calendars and plan to be at the Grand Re-Opening on Sunday, June 21st from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. when admission rates will be back to the same rates when the water park first opened. There will also be a discount on Season Pass packages!
