Woodbidge man, 18, arrested after family feud

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 14400 block of Village Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic with weapons.

When officers arrived, they located a man who matched the suspect description outside of the home and detained him without incident.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 53-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused brandished a knife and attempted to cut the victim. Another family member intervened, and the parties separated. No injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, the man located outside was determined to be the accused, identified as Huzaifah Ahmed ABBASI, and he was arrested.
