Malicious Wounding – On Saturday, Jan. 9 at 9:28PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 13100 block of Kendale Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a carjacking.
The victim, a 30-year-old man, reported to police that he observed suspicious activity in his backyard upon pulling into the driveway. As the victim entered the backyard, he was approached by an unknown man who immediately struck the victim. During the encounter, a second suspect approached the victim who was cut with a sharp object before a family member intervened.
While the two suspects fled on foot, a third suspect stole the victim’s vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. While investigating, officers located the vehicle, unoccupied, on Church Hill Dr. No property was reported missing. The only suspect description is three Hispanic males wearing all black.
