Warrior Challenge Course at Locust Shade Park in PWC closed for repairs
The Warrior Challenge Course at Prince William County’s Locust Shade Park in Triangle has been temporarily closed due to an unforeseen complication with the underpadding (the underlayment) of the playing surface, according to a news release from the county’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
“The problematic underlayment had to be completely removed to allow for the installation of a more traditional padding. With the completion of the process, the final step of installing the top playing surface of synthetic turf is currently underway,” the news release explained.
The public is expected to be welcomed back to this exciting new ninja-style obstacle course on Saturday, Aug. 14.
