Valentine’s Day holdup at Sudley Rd. phone store, county police report

Armed Robbery – On February 14th at 7:56PM, officers responded to Metro PCS located at 8369 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the business and approached an employee. During the encounter, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the business on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Male, unknown race or age, 5’8” with a medium build – no further description
Last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with white t-shirt underneath, balk sweatpants, black shoes and black mask

Attempted Residential Burglary – On February 14th at 3:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7800 block of Oak St in Manassas (20111) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that he was notified by a neighbor that two unknown suspects attempted to enter his residence. Both suspects were gone prior to officers arriving at the home. The investigation revealed that the suspects attempted to enter the residence through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
