Rt. 1 ABC store held up by duo in black who fled in a vehicle reported stolen

Armed Robbery – On Friday, Aug.20 at 10:15AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the ABC store located at 13995 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery.

An employee of the store reported to police that two unknown men approached the counter with selected merchandise. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded money from the cash registers. The second suspect then grabbed the money from the cash registers before both men fled in a silver-colored four door vehicle, according to a report from Master Police Office Renee Carr, public information officer. No injuries were reported.

While investigating, officers determined the vehicle was previously reported stolen from this jurisdiction. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. The only suspect descriptions were a white and a black male, both wearing all black clothing.
