Robbery victims relieved of cell phones and money on Sept. 5, PWC police report

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On September 5 at 10:59PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Cottonwood Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 43-year-old woman, reported to police that she was walking in the area when she was approached by two unknown males. During the encounter, one of the suspects displayed a knife and took the victim’s bag and cell phone. The suspects then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located.
Suspect Descriptions:
Suspect 1 is described as a Hispanic male armed with knife, between 16 & 20 years of age, 5’02”, 120lbs, with black hair
Last seen wearing dark colored shorts and light colored shirt

Suspect 2 is described as a Hispanic male, between 16 & 20 years of age, 5’06”, and 140lbs
Last seen wearing a mask, black hat with a grey brim, grey short sleeve shirt, camouflaged colored pants, and black shoes.

Burglary While Armed -  On September 5 at 8:27PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2500 block of Sedgewick Pl in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a home invasion. The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that two unknown suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the residence and demanded the victim’s money and cell phone. At some point, one round from the handgun was discharged into the ceiling. The parties eventually separated, and the suspects fled the residence on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Both are described as black males, in their early 20s, 5’06”, 185lbs, with a thin builds
Last seen wearing black long sleeve shirts and dark pants

Strong Armed Robbery –  On September 5 at 8:01AM, officers responded to the area of Old Bridge Rd and Westridge Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 22-year-old woman, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she was approached by three unknown males. During the encounter, one of the suspects held the victim while the other suspects rummaged through her backpack. At some point, one of the suspects struck the victim in the face. The suspects took the victim’s money and cell phone before fleeing the area of foot. Officers searched the area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Suspect 1 is described as a black male, between 25 & 35 years of age, 5’05”, 150lbs, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants

Suspects 2 & 3 are only described as black males, between 25 & 35 years of age
