PWC Police charge Rippon Middle School teacher with assault and battery

Assault & Battery | PWC Public School Teacher Arrest – On November 19, Prince William County Police officers began an investigation into an alleged assault by a teacher against a student that was reported to have occurred at Rippon Middle School located at 15101 Blackburn Rd in Woodbridge (22191) sometime on Nov. 1 or Nov. 4. The investigation revealed that the assault took place inside a classroom within the school during school hours. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim, identified as an 11-year-old girl, by the ankles and held her upside down resulting in the victim’s head striking a nearby desk. No injuries were immediately reported by the victim. The incident was recently disclosed prompting the police investigation. On Dec. 3, following the investigation, the accused, identified as Tenkoran AGYEMAN, was arrested. The accused is a teacher for Prince William County Public Schools.

Felony Child Abuse | Domestic Assault & Battery – On Dec.3, Prince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a child abuse allegation that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 1300 block of E. St. in Woodbridge (22191) on Nov. 5 at approximately 1:20PM. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 20-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim, who was holding her 4-month-old boy, causing the baby to fall and strike his head on the wall before hitting the ground. The accused fled the scene prior to police arrival. Minor injuries were reported by both victims, and rescue personnel responded to the scene for treatment. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Zaire Tuncay EZELL, who initially was not located. On Dec. 3, officers located the accused and took him into custody without incident.

Updates-Sexual Assault Investigation *ARREST – On Dec. 3, the suspect sought in connection to the sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 2000 block of Horizon Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 24, was arrested. The accused, Kevin Dejuan GREEN Jr., turned himself in at the U.S. Marine Corps Base Quantico without incident.

Sexual Assault Investigation [Previously Released] – On March 24, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County earlier that morning. The victim, a 22-year-old woman, reported to police that while she was sleeping, an acquaintance, identified as the accused, forced his way into her room and sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to separate herself and fled the room. The accused fled the residence and the victim responded to an area hospital where police were contacted. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Kevin Dejuan GREEN Jr., on April 26. Attempts to locate the subject have been unsuccessful.

Residential Burglary – On December 3 at 10:23AM, officers responded to the Westgate Apartments located in the 8100 block of Porter Ridge Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A resident of one of the apartments reported to police that the burglary occurred sometimes between 7:00AM and 10:00AM. The front door was discovered unsecured and it is unknown at this time if entry was made into the apartment. No items were reported missing.

Man, woman charged with child neglect involving baby

On January 10 at 11:12PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a parking lot located in the 14400 block of Gideon Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a child neglect. The investigation revealed that the driver and the occupant of the vehicle were under the influence of alcohol and suspected narcotics. An 11-month-old boy was also inside of the vehicle and was not injured.
