Here’s a chance to weigh in on new entrées, side dishes, and other food products and recipes your child may be offered for breakfast and lunch at Prince William County Schools in the 2017-18 school year. Have a say in what’s on your child’s tray, and see videos of the recipes you’ll be tasting!
The PWCS Annual Food Show will be held at Colgan High School, located just off VA 234 near the Kelly Leadership Center, on Thursday, March 9. The tastings are open to the first 1,000 county students, parents, and staff to sign up in advance. There will be two tastings, one from 6–7 p.m. and a second from 7–8 p.m.
Reservations are required and may be made by calling the Office of School Food and Nutrition Services at 703-791-7314.
Results of taste tests and any suggestions for improving the food service program will be used to help School Food and Nutrition Services decide what to offer in schools for the 2017-18 school year. a news release said.
