On Monday, March 28, 2022 the suspect sought in connection to the domestic that was reported to have occurred at the Windsor Park Apartments located in the 3900 block of Penhurst Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) on March 1, was arrested. The accused, identified as Hunter Stephen VERUCCHI, turned himself in to Prince William County Police without incident.

Strangulation | Domestic Related [Previously Released] – On March 22 at 2:47AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at the Windsor Park Apartments located in the 3900 block of Penhurst Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) during the early
morning hours of March 1. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 21-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the altercation, the accused pushed the victim onto a couch and grabbed her neck. Eventually, the parties separated, and the accused left the residence. The victim reported sustaining injuries during the incident. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Hunter Stephen VERUCCHI. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

• Brandishing of a Weapon *ARREST – On March 26, 2022 the suspect sought in connection to the brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the 13500 block of Cridercrest Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 19, 2022 was arrested. The accused, identified as Darryl Thomas WELDON, was taken into custody without incident.

Brandishing of Weapon [Previously Released] – On March 19, 2022 at 1:34PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 13500 block of Cridercrest Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 42-year-old man, reported to police that while in the parking lot of the above area, he and the driver of another vehicle, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation. During the altercation, the accused retrieved a machete from his vehicle and brandished it while making threats towards the victim. The parties separated and the victim contacted the police. Prior to police arriving in the area, the accused made additional verbal threats towards the victim before leaving in his vehicle. There was no physical interaction between the victim and the accused during the encounter. While investigating, officers identified the accused as Darryl Thomas WELDON, and obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

On March 26 at 8:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the El Gicarito 2 restaurant located at 10611 Lomond Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 37-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s hair before grabbing her neck. The parties eventually separated, and the victim left prior to police arriving at the establishment. The following day, the victim reported the incident and minor injuries sustained during the altercation, to police. Following the investigation, on March 27, the accused, identified as Jose Manuel BLANCO GONZALEZ, was arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 12:16AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14900 block of Cordell Ave. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a destruction of property. While officers were investigating the incident, they observed an individual, later identified as the accused, strike an acquaintance, an 18-year-old woman. Officers immediately intervened and separated the
parties before detaining the accused. The victim reported minor injuries. The investigation into the destruction of property revealed that the window was shattered when the accused threw rocks at the glass in an attempt to contact a resident of the home. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15- year-old female juvenile, was arrested. While placing the accused inside the police vehicle, the accused bit and kicked an officer before she spat on another officer. The accused was resecured without further incident. The officers were not injured.

• Indecent Exposure – On February 7, 2022 at 6:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Macy’s inside the Manassas Mall located at 8270 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an indecent exposure. An employee of the store reported to police observing an unknown man, later identified as the accused, enter an open storage area at the rear of the store. A short time later, the employee entered the storage area and observed the accused exposing himself and making inappropriate gestures. The employee confronted the accused and then contacted the police. On February 8, following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Pablo Lauro HERNANDEZ. Initial attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. On March 25, the accused was located and charged.
