PWC Police Crime Report for Friday, June 28, 2024: Shoe theft and caustic spray

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2:39PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the 4000 block of the Prince William Pkwy. in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that day.
The investigation revealed the victim, an 18-year-old man, arranged to sell a pair of shoes to an unknown man in the above area. Before the sale was completed, the man grabbed the shoes from the victim and began to drive out of the parking lot. The victim held onto the shoes and was dragged for a short distance before he fell to the ground as the suspect continued to drive out of the area. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries where police were contacted. A pair of Jordan-style shoes were reported missing. The suspect was described as a white male with long hair driving a white sedan.

•Assault with a Caustic Substance (Domestic Related) – On Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 9:07PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 block of Bellona Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old man, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation in the parking lot that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused sprayed the victim in his face and upper body with an unknown substance before driving away in her vehicle. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Tahjaia CORUM-HILL. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
