PWC Crime Report: Oct. 25, 2022 - Shots fired, armed robberies, domestic disputes, several arrests

On October 22, 2022 the suspect sought in connection to the fight that was reported to have occurred at the Potomac Ridge Apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) on October 19, was arrested. The accused, Brian Maurice HILL, was taken into custody without incident.

Abduction | Assault & Battery [Previously Released] – On October 19 at 7:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Potomac Ridge Apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed two juveniles were involved in a mutual physical altercation. After observing part of the encounter between the two juveniles, a family member of one of them, identified as the accused, chased after, and then grabbed hold of the other juvenile. The accused then held on to the juvenile victim, identified as a 10-year-old boy, before instructing his son to strike the victim. After being struck, the parties separated, and the victim reported the incident to a family member who contacted the police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Brian Maurice HILL. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

INCIDENTS
• Shooting Investigation –
On October 24, 2022 at 9:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Potomac Inn located at 13964 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. When officers arrived at the location, they observed several individuals leaving the scene.
The investigation revealed shots were fired which struck several locations including two different unoccupied rooms of the hotel. A black two-door sedan with tinted windows was also seen fleeing the area. Officers located shell casings in the parking lot. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Armed Robbery | Carjacking – On October 24, 2022 at 10:44PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 15200 block of Flintlock Ter. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim was delivering food to a residence in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the men brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects took the victim’s property and the food before fleeing in the victim’s vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no shots were fired during the incident. The suspects were wearing all black clothing, with one wearing a red mask while the other two were wearing a black mask.

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On October 24, 2022 at 5:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, an 18-year-old man, was inside the mall when he was approached from behind by two unknown teenaged males and knocked to the ground. While on the ground, the suspects and a third teenaged male began striking the victim before taking his shoes and fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. Two of the suspects were wearing dark-colored clothing and ski-style masks, while the third suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On October 24, 2022 at 9:28AM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 62-year-old man, was in the wooded area behind a local business when he was approached by two unknown men. During the encounter, the men struck the victim and demanded his property. The men took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before walking away. The victim initially followed the men to a nearby hotel. No injuries were reported. The suspects were described as two black males, wearing black masks and clothing.

• Commercial Burglary – On October 24, 2022 at 5:32PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Sudley Center shopping plaza located at 8209 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed a storefront was burglarized sometime between 12:00PM and 1:00PM. Entry was made into the business space through the unsecured rear door. Power tools were reported missing.

ARRESTS
• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related –
On October 24, 2022 at 11:20PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 12000 block of Bradley Forest Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a fight-in-progress.
The investigation revealed a physical altercation occurred between multiple individuals, including the two accused and a 19-year-old woman, inside the residence. All parties were known to one another. Additional family members intervened and separated the parties until police arrived at the location. Injuries were reported by all parties involved in the incident.
Following the investigation, both accused, identified as Yvonne Annette FARY-COOK and Brandon Ellis BALDRIDGE, were arrested.

Charged with domestic assault & battery

• Brandon Ellis BALDRIDGE, 26, of 5024 Mount Cross Rd. in Danville
Charged with malicious wounding
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On October 24, 2022 at 9:00AM, Prince William County Policeofficers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of La Maurice Lp. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 55-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the lower body. The two parties eventually separated, and the police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Marquis Davon BOSTIC, was arrested.
