PW Police K-9 unit tracks and locates suspect in Hillendale 7-Eleven robbery

Armed Robbery *ARREST | Armed Robbery *NEW INCIDENT – On December 2 at 12:33AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 13131 Hillendale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery, according to a news release from Officer Nathaniel J. Probus, police department spokesman.

Employees reported to police that an unknown, masked man entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

A police K-9 unit responded to search for the suspect. A short time later, an officer located and detained the suspect, identified as Anthony Emanuel VASQUEZ, without incident.  During the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit determined that VASQUEZ was also involved in a robbery which occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 14400 Gideon Dr on November 1. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with 2 counts of robbery

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On November 1 at 10:27PM, officers responded to the 7-11 located at 14400 Gideon Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown, masked man entered the store and approached the counter. Once there, the man brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located.

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On December 1 at 9:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10900 block of Campaign Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 8:45AM and 12:10PM, entry was made into the residence using a ladder through a side window. A cell phone and money were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 1 at 6:30PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic assault which occurred at a residence located in the 13000 block of Forest Glen Rd in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening.

The victim, a 48-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. At some point, the accused took the victim’s phone preventing her from contacting police. The accused then grabbed the victim which prevented her from leaving. The parties eventually separated. The victim responded to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries and police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident later that evening.

Charged with abduction, domestic assault & battery, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement
