Parents of elementary students can eat turkey with them at school Nov. 19
Most schools hold their Thanksgiving luncheons on November 19—this Thursday. Celebrate the beautiful fall weather than by joining your student in his or her school cafeteria for a festive celebration.
A variety of hot and cold entrées and sides will be available in the cafeteria. Some elementary schools choose to coordinate their Thanksgiving dress-up days with the luncheon. The costumes look very festive and, along with the autumn décor, add to the excitement of the event.
School Food and Nutrition Services looks forward to welcoming parents for their students’ school’s Thanksgiving Luncheon on Nov. 19 or on any other day! Each school celebrates a little differently, so check with the school’s front office for details.
