No remote participation in May 24 PWC Board of County Supervisors’ meeting

Prince William County government is reporting that its control (broadcast) room, as well as the equipment located in the room and the cabling in the ceiling, suffered significant water damage this afternoon, May 23,  during a sprinkler system repair.

Due to the damage of the equipment, there will be no opportunity for remote participation during the May 24 meeting of the Board of County Supervisors, according to a news release.  Persons wishing to speak during Public Comment Time or on any of the public hearings listed on the agenda will need to appear in-person at the McCoart Administration Building, 1 County Complex Court, Prince William, VA 22192.

The May 24 Board meeting will not be broadcast or streamed live due to the damaged equipment. An audio recording of the meeting will be posted on the County’s website on May 25, according to the county government’s report.
