Marsteller Middle School choir to sing at choral directors’ convention in Boston
Marsteller Middle School’s 8th Grade Select Men’s Choir will perform before an audience of hundreds of choral directors from around the country in Boston on Friday, Feb. 12.
Under the direction of Philip C. Keirstead, the students will demonstrate their talent and discuss how to get young men interested in singing during the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Eastern Division Conference.
Keirstead is well known nationally as an outstanding middle school choral director. This is the second time his students have been invited to an ACDA conference.
“The students are also excited to take in the sights and history of one of our nation’s oldest and greatest cities, including private tours of Fenway Park, the USS Constitution, and walking the Freedom Trail,” said Keirstead.
