Free workshop for Hispanic contractors July 21 in Manassas

The DC Metro Hispanic Contractors Workshop will offer participants business information on a variety of topics in Manassas on Thursday, July 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at VFW Post 7589 which is located at 9304 Centreville Road, in the building next to the Manassas fire station.

Subcontractors will have the opportunity to complete a job application with Turner Construction. 

The event is presented by the DC Hispanic Contractors Association, Turner Construction Company, and Better Business Consulting and facilitated by the Flory Small Business Center, Inc., an education arm of Prince William County government.

Whether you own an existing business or are just starting out, this free workshop has something for you.

Pre-registration is required to ensure adequate materials and refreshments.

Mexican tapas will be available.

Speakers with real world experience will present topics that include, “How to Build a Construction Business,” “Managing Small Business Finances,” “State/County Support for Small Businesses,” and “Licensing and Permitting in Prince William County,” according to Linda Decker, director of the Flory Small Business Center.
