Fifth suspect arrested in April 17 shooting; citizen honks horn, scares off robbery suspects

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation *Arrest- On December 20 at 10:20PM, officers responded to the intersection of Kempair Dr and Kim Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate the report of an unconscious subject in the roadway. When officers arrived on scene, they located the man and determined that he was intoxicated. The man, who was later identified as Bryan RAMOS, was also wanted in connection to a shooting, which occurred in the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge on April 17. RAMOS was arrested without incident. In total, five suspects have been identified in connection to the shooting investigation and all have been arrested.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation *ARRESTS [Previously Released] – On May 10, detectives from the Gang and Robbery Units identified two additional suspects involved in the shooting which occurred in the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge on April 17. During that incident, a 12 year old boy was shot. Detectives have since obtained warrants for those suspects identified as Bryan RAMOS and a 16 year old male juvenile. In addition to this development, a suspect previous identified in this case, K’Shawn Marcellus PEARSON, turned himself into police on May 12. In total, five suspects have been identified in connection to this investigation, three of which are now in custody.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation *ADDITIONAL SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On April 19, detectives from the Gang and Robbery Units identified a fourth suspect, involved in the shooting investigation which was reported to have occurred in the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge on April 17. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of that suspect, identified as K’Shawn Marcellus PEARSON. Attempts to locate PEARSON have been unsuccessful.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation *ARRESTS [Previously Released] – On April 19, detectives from the Gang and Robbery Units identified three suspects involved in the shooting which was reported to have occurred in the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge on April 17. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of those three individuals, one which was identified as a juvenile. A search warrant was also obtained and subsequently executed at the residence of two of the suspects, identified as Xina Janeth SALES and Cody Dale BROADUS, on Harrison St in Woodbridge. During the search, both suspects were arrested without incident. Attempts to locate the juvenile suspect, a 16 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, have been unsuccessful.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On April 17 at 7:27PM, officers responded to the 4900 block of Kirwyn Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting call.  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 12 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, was playing in the above area with several friends when he was involved in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance which escalated. During the encounter, a large fight broke out between the two parties. At some point, a suspect riding inside a SUV fired several rounds into the crowd striking the victim in the arm and lower body. The vehicle then fled the area prior to police arriving. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.  Detectives have determined that this shooting was not random. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**

Attempted Strong Armed Robbery- On December 21 at 6:32PM, officers responded to the 7400 block of Parrish Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 17-year-old juvenile male of Manassas, reported to police that at approximately 4:30PM that evening, he was walking in the area when two unknown men grabbed him and demanded money. A citizen in the area observed what was occurring and honked the horn to her vehicle, causing the suspects to flee the area on foot. No property was taken and there were no injuries reported. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
Suspect Description:
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male wearing a black jacket, tan pants, and black gloves. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male wearing white pants and black gloves. 

Strong Armed Robbery- On December 21 at 8:13PM, officers responded to Peking Express located at 13999 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. An employee, a 42-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that at approximately 6:25PM that evening, an unknown man entered the business and attempted to make a purchase. When the victim opened the cash register, the man struck the victim in the face causing minor injuries. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and left the store on foot. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Described as a black male, 5’1’’, and 165lbs. Last seen wearing a green polo shirt, black pants, black sneakers, and a black winter hat.

Residential Burglary- On December 21 at 3:42PM, officers responded to the 1700 block of Varsity Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The resident reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:45AM and 11:30AM on December 20. The investigation revealed that an unknown person entered the residence through a rear door which was left unsecured. A video game console, games and shoes were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary- On December 21 at 9:40AM, officers responded to the 18000 block of Camdenhurst Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 9:00PM on December 20 and 9:00AM on December 21, an unknown person attempted to enter the residence through the front door which was found damaged. Entry had not been made and no property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary- On December 20 at 9:09PM, officers responded to the 4100 block of Bancroft Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she heard voices coming from the basement area of the residence and contacted police. When responding officers arrived on scene, three unknown suspects were observed running away from the residence. Additional officers and a police K9 were used to search for the suspects but were not located. The investigation revealed that entry had been made into the residence through a rear door which had been damaged. No property was reported missing.

One subject wore a gray sweatshirt, the second wore a white sweatshirt, and the third wore a gray jacket
