Corrections officer sprayed with cleaning solution when delivering dinner tray

**ARRESTS**

Abduction | Domestic Related – On September 25 at 8:58PM, officers responded to the 14900 block of Diamond View Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 21-year-old woman of Gainesville, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation while in her vehicle which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and would not let her leave the vehicle. A nearby citizen intervened and the victim was eventually able to leave the vehicle then contact police. Minor injuries were reported. The suspect, identified as Michael Francis MCCLOUD, fled the area prior to officers arriving. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. The accused was located and arrested without incident at his residence during the early morning hours on September 26.

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On September 24 at 11:37PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14800 block of Anderson Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 26-year-old woman, and the accused, a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the throat. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Charged with strangulation

Felony Child Abuse – On September 26 at 1:48PM, an officer and Child Protective Services responded to investigate an assault which occurred earlier that morning along Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026). The investigation revealed that the victim, a juvenile girl, was involved in a verbal altercation in a vehicle with the accused, identified as a family member, while driving to school that morning. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face causing a minor injury. A school staff member noticed the injury to the victim and contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. The victim was released into the custody of another family member.

Lakia Dillene MISTER, 42, of the 17200 block of Wexford Lp in Dumfries
Charged with felony child abuse
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Released on a personal recognizance bond

Assault & Battery on a Correctional Officer – On September 26 at 4:54PM, officers responded to the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an assault on a corrections officer which occurred earlier that afternoon. The investigation revealed that a corrections officer was passing out a dinner tray to the accused when the accused became agitated and sprayed the officer with a cleaning solution. The accused was quickly detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was charged and remains incarcerated.
