City police take report of two burglaries in two days at same Manassas residence

Crime Report - June 14, 2017

Burglary
On June 13, 2017, the Manassas City Police Department responded to a residence on the 9200 block of Byrd Dr for a report of a burglary past.  The victim told police his residence had been broken into twice since June 12th.  On the afternoon of June 12, 2017, the victim told police someone entered his residence and stole various electronic items and cash.  On June 13, 2017, the victim told police a BMX bike was missing from the backyard of his residence.  The victim did not initially report the first incident to police.  Investigation is ongoing. 

Armed Robbery
At 01:11 a.m. on June 14, 2017, the Manassas City police responded to 8402 Digges Rd (7-Eleven) for a report of an armed robbery.  The store clerk told police a black male entered the store wearing a mask, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.  The suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  A police k-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.  No injuries were reported by the victim.  See suspect photos below.  Investigation is ongoing.
