Another suspect arrested in connection with two related shootings Oct. 22 in Woodbridge

Shooting Investigation *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On October 24, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a second suspect, identified as Anthony Brandon MOORE, in connection to the ongoing investigation into two related shootings that occurred in the area of Titania Way and Brazil Cir in Woodbridge on October 22, according to Sgt. Perok, spokesman for Prince William County Police Department.

Perok said the task force located the suspect in Prince George’s County, MD, where he was arrested without incident. The latest suspect arrested in the case will remain incarcerated in Maryland until extradited back to Virginia. No other suspects are being sought at this time in this investigation.

Detectives previously arrested another man, identified as Jon Herbert HARPER, on October 23, Sgt. Perok said.

Shooting Investigations *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED | ARREST [Previously Released] – Upon further investigation, detectives identified one of the suspects involved in two related shootings that occurred in the area of Titania Way and Brazil Cir in Woodbridge on October 22. Detectives subsequently obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as John Herbert HARPER. On October 23, the accused was located by officers on Titania Way. As officers approached the accused, he attempted to flee the area on foot before being taken into custody in the area of Merchant Plaza Shopping Center after a brief foot pursuit. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Shooting Investigations [Previously Released] – On October 22 at 9:17AM, officers responded to a business located in the 12800 block of Touchstone Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. When officers arrived, they located a 19-year-old man suffering from minor injuries to his face. Officers later determined that the victim had fled a residence located in the 12900 block of Titania Way after being involved in a physical confrontation with two acquaintances. During that encounter, a handgun was discharged. The victim then fled to the nearby business where police were contacted. No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire and no property damage was located. At 9:41AM, officers responded to the 15170 block of Brazil Cir to investigate a second shooting. The investigation revealed that an unknown male began shooting from a vehicle at a 20-year-old man who was sitting outside his residence. The suspect vehicle then fled the area. No injuries were reported as a result of the second shooting. An adjacent townhome and a vehicle parked in front of the victim’s residence were struck by bullets. Upon further investigation, detectives with the Robbery Unit determined that these incidents were not random and were related. The investigation continues.
