80 storage units damaged or destroyed in three-alarm fire on Sudley Road

On Sunday, October 14th, at 11:16 p.m., fire and rescue units responded to a commercial structure fire at the Stor-All Storage facility located in the 7900 block of Sudley Road in Manassas.  No injuries were reported.

According to a news release from Prince William County Fire & Rescue, the first-arriving units encountered heavy fire and smoke conditions and the incident quickly escalated to three alarms in which the Department received mutual aid from surrounding jurisdictions of Loudoun, Fauquier and Fairfax County.

A preliminary report from the Fire Marshal’s Office indicates that approximately 80 storage units were heavily damaged or destroyed. Fire loss estimate is currently unavailable. The damaged units were posted as unsafe structures by a representative from the Building Official’s office. County Police assisted with scene management and traffic.

Fire investigators with the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office have an investigation underway to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
