Timothy (Tim) Michael John Peyton, 48, of Manassas, VA died at home and went to be with Jesus on Feb. 9, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on June 13, 1968 to John F. and Dianne B. Peyton in Tacoma Park, MD.
Tim was a valued employee of Home Depot for 21 years. His experiences there led him to work at three stores in the area and almost every department.
Tim was graduated in 1987 from Osbourn High School, Manassas, VA and received a Bachelor in Business Administrational 1993 from Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
Tim loved swimming. He broke many records in the Manassas Swim Club and at Marymount University. Some of Tim’s fondest memories were summer vacations at Ocean City, fishing in his boat with his buddy Russ, riding on his motorcycle and driving his Dodge Challenger.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Tamara M. Peyton; stepson, John A. Pearce; adored granddaughter, Evelyn Pearce; mother, Dianne Bloxton Peyton; father, John F. Peyton; sister, Kellie Tharp (Chris); and brother, Sean C. Peyton (Alexandra); Tim was also especially fond and close to his cousins, Laura (Jerry); Lee Ann, Carrie Ann; and Phillip.
A celebration of life will be held at Chapel Springs Assembly of God 11500 New Life Way Bristow VA on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017. The Chapel will open at 10 a.m. for friends and family. Service will be at 11 a.m.
The family and friends would like to thank the physicians and staff at The Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA., The Capital Caring Hospice organization, The Gainesville Cancer Center for their compassionate care, and devoted friends for their selfless care during Tim’s final journey.
Tim looked forward to the promise of eternal life with his Lord. His last word was “Pray”. In lieu of flowers - please give flowers and a hug to a special friend, as friends were very special to Tim.
